Alanta Richards, a 17-year-old business student from Farnham, has won a place in the Miss England semi-finals.

Last year Alanta, despite being one of the youngest contestants, reached the finals of Miss England.

“My ambition in life is to become a fashion model and influencer,” said Alanta.

Determined to make this dream a reality, she decided to compete again in this year’s competition and won a place in the semi-finals.

“I want to thank my mum who has supported me throughout the Miss England heats and final last year,” she said.

Alanta’s hobbies include horse riding and trick/western style riding.

“I am passionate about two charities in particular which include suicide prevention charity papyrus and Rett UK, due to my family friends’ little girl having the condition.”

The Miss England 2023 semi-final will be held in Blackpool on October 16.
