THE Alresford Chamber of Commerce ‘Business Award’ has been won by independent fitness boutique and exercise studio Fitique.

Based on Broad Street, Fitique was launched in 2015, since when it has gone from strength to strength.

A chamber spokesman said of the studio run by the team of Rebecca Caplan, Victoria Gedye and Karen Hazlitt: “Fitique is a one-stop shop for discerning women to purchase all their day-to-day fitness wear. In addition, the business offers extensive exercise classes in a modern studio.

“But the thing that has stood out most is the positive effect it has had on the local community’s health and well-being by leading a well-attended weekly ‘run club’ which runs every Thursday evening and is attended by a range of fitness abilities.”

The Business Award was voted upon by the members of the Alresford Chamber of Commerce committee. The criteria for the award was based upon innovation, progression and standout ability within the Alresford Chamber of Commerce business community.
