CHILDREN at Ropley Pre-school had a flipping good time when they took part in a sponsored pancake flip.

Based at Ropley village hall, the children cheered each other on as they walked the length of the hall, flipping their pancakes as many times as they could.

And they achieved a great number of flips between them although, according to pre-school leader Sarah Harry, “some did end up on the floor!”.

Many of the children were sponsored by their family and friends and more than £200 was raised for the pre-school. The money will be used to buy some much-needed new resources for the children to enjoy.

After all the fun, the children enjoyed a well-deserved snack of pancakes and fruit.
