ST MARK’S Church in Bordon welcomed visitors to its Scarecrows and Sunflowers Festival.

The event saw schools, playgroups, Brownies and community organisations decorate scarecrows and exhibit them over the weekend of September 15 to 17.

To top it off, there was a free concert with choir singers and the Ukeladies.

David Scott-Bromley, the husband of vicar The Rev Deborah Scott-Bromley, said the festival went “very well indeed” with lots of attendees.

“It really was brilliant, we were very happy,” he added.
