FOUR Marks has excelled in four categories in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight ‘Village of the Year’ competition.
In this, the first year it has entered, Four Marks won the award, including a cheque for £100, in the Best Open Spaces category for its signage and was runner-up in the Most Inspiring Places to live category for its open spaces and recreation area.
In addition, it was highly commended in the Best Community Initiative category, again for the recreation ground wildlife area, and it was named runner-up, behind Chandler’s Ford, which took this year’s title of ‘Village of the Year’.
The awards took place at Liss Triangle Centre.
