CHILDREN at Andrew’s Endowed School in Holybourne have made up and collected around 45 Christmas shoeboxes, destined for children in Third World countries, under the Christian charity Samaritan’s Purse.
As in previous years, the children and their families were invited to make up gift boxes for disadvantaged children in three different age groups, from a list of suggested gifts ranging from sweets and scarves to toys and festive treats.
And last Wednesday, a Samaritan’s Purse courier arrived to take them to the distribution warehouse in Guildford.
The youngsters from St Andrew’s Endowed School are pictured with their festive haul which will be sent to disadvantaged children this Christmas.
