Busted Loose are appearing in the Cellar Bar at the Farnham Maltings on December 22 at 8.30pm.

Fronted by the twin guitars and vocals of Steve Simpson and Papa George, they have performed their brand of contemporary blues rock with touches of soul for some 30 years, holding many a London residency between their other busy touring and recording schedules.

Delving into songs from Muddy Waters, ZZ Top, Stevie Wonder and Keb Mo as well as their own, they treat the music with respect while adding their touch of grittiness and musicianship with the help of bassist Pete Stroud and drummer Brendan O’Neill.

Their enjoyment of playing is a feature of their shows which is picked up by audiences wherever they perform.

Apart from Steve and George running their own bands, they have individually appeared with a multitude of other top names in the business, including Slim Chance, Roger Chapman, Gary Moore, Peter Green, John Mayall, Charlie Dore and Buddy Whittington.

This is one of the Thursday Blues nights run by local promotion company Boogaloo Promotions. Monica Madgwick and her team have been booking the Cellar Bar for many years.

There is plenty of parking and seating in the venue. Doors open at 8pm and admission costs £14. Tickets can be bought on the night or reserved by visiting www.boogaloopromotions.com or calling 01252 793430.
