ALTON Community Centre flung wide its doors on Saturday night for the fifth annual Glam Rock disco, which raised £377 for Alton Community Association.

More than 60 revellers in colourful glitter, platforms and flares danced to 70s music played on original seven-inch vinyl. Some even came from as far afield as Birmingham.

Centre manager Maria Elliott said everyone let their hair down and took time out to "relive the music and dance moves of their youth".
