ALTON Golf Club has come up with a novel way to supplement its income and secure the survival of its historic nine-hole course.
Following hard on the heels of an upbeat centenary year, the club has put forward an outline planning application to build 31 holiday chalets in woodland off the Old Odiham Road in Shalden.
