Students taking T-levels at HSDC - which includes Alton College - achieved a 91.3 per cent pass rate last year.
The statistic was included in a recent report by the Department for Education which ranked HSDC as having the ninth best T-level pass rate in the country. A total of 126 students earned the qualification.
T-levels began in 2020 and are technical qualifications developed with employers to prepare students for the workplace.
The education and early years T-level course at Alton College saw 100 per cent of students earn distinctions or merits. The national average was 81.7 per cent.
Ashley Grute, Alton College’s assistant principal for curriculum, said: “We are delighted that our students are able to achieve such fantastic results on this T-level.”
