This year’s Grayshott at Christmas season got off to a roaring start last Saturday (November 26) with the switching on of the Christmas lights.

More than 350 people attended the event. A free funfair was laid on, as well as music, hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies.

The lights were switched on by nine-year-old Amélie – the winner of the Christmas Art Competition.

The Grayshott at Christmas season continues with the late-night shopping and Christmas market in the village square from 3.30pm to 8pm on Thursday, December 8.

The Spot the Elf competition is being run by shopkeepers in the village until Friday, December 23.
