The renowned Bedales Rock Show returns in what promises to be an electrifying showcase of contemporary music talent at Bedales School in Steep from February 1 to 3 at 7.30pm.

This year’s show – a highlight of the school’s events programme – promises to be bigger and better than ever. The students of Bedales Contemporary Music will present their very best live performances.

It is not only a celebration of a year’s hard work by a number of Bedales students, but also an important stepping stone for aspiring professional musicians who hope to follow a career path in the music industry.

Parents of students should note that tickets for the show must be paid for at the time of booking and cannot be charged to their school bill.

For tickets, priced £25 or £17.50, visit www.bedales.org.uk/event/bedales-rock-show-2023

In Wild Onion, on February 8 at 7.30pm, the audience is invited to step into the circle of three best friends and peel back the layers of this riotous, narrative cabaret.

Daisy loses her sense of self in the midst of family secrets, Rach attempts to manage her fear of men, and Adam tries to make himself cry on a cyr wheel.

It blends theatre, dance, circus and more than 100 delightfully destroyed onions, all of which will be composted at a local community garden.

For tickets, priced £16 or £14, visit www.bedales.org.uk/event/wild-onion
