THE Alresford and District Horticultural Society produce, flower and craft show took place within the Alresford Agricultural Show.

Despite entry numbers being down on last year, the marquee was full of colour and looked “magnificent”, according to the organisers.

The children’s classes were well supported as usual and showed how talented the younger generation are while the Alresford Allotment Society set up a fantastic display of their produce to really inspire all those who came to see it.

Organisers thanked all those who entered the classes, and the many helpers, society members, friends and family, that made the show possible.

This year’s winners were introduced by Steven Morley, chairman of the Alresford and District Horticultural Society, and presented with their trophies by Catherine Loudon, the wife of Andrew Loudon, president of the Alresford and District Agricultural Society.
