EAST Hampshire District Council's north planning committee has approved the installation of two wind turbines at Aviation, Engineering and Technical Support Lasham.

The turbines will be south of a complex of hangers used for aircraft maintenance and 300 metres from residential property to the south at Manor Farm.

Energy generated will be used on the site with any excess energy returned to the national grid.
