TRAFFIC chaos returned to Petersfield on Wednesday morning as overnight snow brought a return to treacherous conditions on roads and rail.

Schools that struggled to open at the beginning of the week were closed again on Wednesday because of the adverse weather conditions and rail and bus services were once again severely disrupted.
