Hale Carnival on July 2 enjoyed perfect weather and a big crowd saw pupils from Folly Hill School start the fun with a maypole dance.
This was followed by a performance from the local Illusion Dance Academy, run by dance director Suzie Jones.
The dog show saw Farnham Fringe Festival team member Jasmine, a Poochon – a miniature poodle crossed with a Bichon Frise – winning a first prize rosette for paw shaking. There was a funfair, an animal petting area and face painting.
Main stage music included Achilles Heel, Kings Pond Shantymen, Rockin Rogers and Late To The Party, with the Rock Choir leading the carnival procession on to the recreation ground. Audio Excursions and Kelly and The Dealers played next before fireworks climaxed the carnival.
