A teenager from Hampshire has been arrested in connection with an assault and criminal damage after a property in Farnborough was damaged.

Caleb Palmer, 18 from Longfield Close, Farnborough, has been charged with assault and two counts criminal damage to property valued under £5,000

On Saturday, August 9, officers received a report that an address on Caswell Close had been damaged and that a man in his 30s had been assaulted with a baseball bat on 9 August. The man suffered injuries to his head, back and torso.

Hampshire Police also received a report that a woman in her 20s had been threatened and assaulted on Greatfield Road on 1 October. A brick was later thrown which caused damage to a wall outside a property on the road.

Officers made an arrest later that evening. It was then reported that a threat was made to damage a custody interview room.

Palmer is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today, Friday, October 3.
