IT WAS all treat, no trick, for children and adults alike as they enjoyed a truly spooktacular time at Haslemere Museum’s annual celebration of Hallowe’en.

The children were all dressed up in their spookiest costumes and brought along their own pumpkins in all shapes and sizes to carve in the event which was organised by Haslemere Museum and Visit Haslemere.

As evening fell Heather Matthews, manager of Visit Haslemere, and mayor Jerome Davidson led the Hallowe’en parade of mini witches, ghosts, skeletons and werewolves all carrying their carved pumpkins along the High Street to Charter Walk.

After pulling their scariest poses, all children received a treat.

Education officer Kay Topping said: “We are delighted to host this event at Haslemere Museum.

“It works really well and it is always wonderful to see all the families enjoying themselves and the children really getting involved with the arts and crafts as well as the pumpkin carving.”
