East Hampshire sees 70 per cent rise in coronavirus cases

A TOTAL of 239 people tested positive for coronavirus in East Hampshire on February 2. The seven-day rolling total was 2,537, up 1,035 or 68.9 per cent.

One person died within 28 days of a positive test in East Hampshire on February 2. The seven-day rolling total was nine deaths and the rolling death rate was 1.6 per 100,000 people.

A total of 103,631 people (91.1 per cent) have had their first dose of the vaccine, 98,133 (86.3 per cent) their second dose and 84,100 (73.9 per cent) their booster.

On February 2, a total of 291 people tested positive for coronavirus in Waverley. The seven-day rolling total was 2,900, up 1,124 or 63.3 per cent.

Three people died within 28 days of a positive test in Waverley on February 2. The seven-day rolling total was seven deaths and the rolling death rate was 2.4 per 100,000 people.

A total of 105,067 people (88 per cent) have had their first dose of the vaccine, 98,129 (82.2 per cent) their second dose and 83,957 (70.3 per cent) their booster.
