THE Hogmoor Inclosure in Whitehill & Bordon will host this year’s Charity Walk for Peace on May 21.

Hundreds of walkers are expected to turn out and enjoy a relaxed 5km stroll while raising money for 17 local charities, groups and clubs. It starts at 11am and walkers can register from 10.30am.

It is being arranged by a partnership of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association, East Hampshire District Council and the Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust.

M Zakariyya Choudhry, regional president of the association, said: “This is the first time the Charity Walk for Peace has been held in Whitehill & Bordon and we are really excited to meet new people and see how the town will come out and support the event.”

The route will start and finish at Hogmoor Inclosure and will take in other parts of the town including The Shed and the Whitehill Leisure Centre.
