Yesterday saw a hugely attended Remembrance Sunday service in Alton, but with Armistice Day following tomorrow the town’s shopfronts are still very much in Remembrance season.
Gwyneth Rushton, of Selborne, took a trip into Alton today and was impressed by the efforts of the St Michael’s Hospice Shop in the High Street.
She said: “I couldn't walk past the St Michael's Hospice Remembrance window display in Alton this morning without taking a picture.”
