ANSTEY Junior School returned home triumphant on Tuesday, July 12, after winning the Alton Cricket Festival.

Nine children in years 3, 4 and 5 made up the team who played two games and won with an overall score of 549 – 507.

A school spokesperson said: “Every child in the team played brilliantly and their teamwork and communication was fantastic. As a result of their victory, they are the proud winners of the new Brian King Shield.”
