JOBSEEKERS in Bordon and the surrounding area are being invited to attend next week’s East Hampshire Job Fair, which will be attended by employers, training providers and employability groups (which help people to become employable).

Eastleigh-based housing provider Radian is supporting the event on June 30, in association with the East Hampshire Employability Group. The job fair is taking place between noon and 6pm at the Forest Community Centre on Pinehill Road, Bordon.

Radian’s employment, skills and training team will hold free workshops on interview skills and techniques; digital and social-media awareness, and transferable skills. Employers due to attend include MENCAP, Premier Inn, McDonald’s, Security Watchdog, Drew Smith and SGN.

Free transport to and from the event will be provided at Alton Community Centre and Petersfield library.
