PEOPLE are being urged to vote online to support Miss Hampshire in her bid for this year’s national title of Miss England.

Larissa Hirst, 25, from New Milton, won the title of Miss Hampshire at a glittering finale at the Alton House Hotel in March.

An on August 14-15, she will be competing against 52 other contestants at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry to become Miss England 2015, which will lead to the Miss World contest in Sanya, China, later this year.

In Coventry, Larissa will take part in a number of competitions featuring a fitness bootcamp, charity, eco-wear, talent, and popularity. Each round winner is given a place in the top 15.

A passionate fundraiser, Larissa has raised nearly £2,500 for the Miss World charity Beauty With A Purpose, which helps disadvantaged children around the world, and Southampton Hospital Charity.

She ran the ABP Southampton Half-Marathon and recently held a charity fete in Marchwood, as well as hosting an arts and crafts day for the patients of the children’s hospital.
