A MAN who ran 5km every day in 2021 for Cancer Research saw his fundraising total pass £10,000 on Monday, the final day for donations to his JustGiving page.

Jon Bailey, who lives in Alton, completed his Jondoes5km challenge by running 5km around Jubilee Fields in Alton on December 31.

Jon, pictured at the finish, was joined by friends Ollie Mace, David Gillick, Daniel Shehan, Finley Bunce and Adam Gallagher. Mum Julie Bailey said: “They were cheered on by family and friends. It was such a positive, uplifting event to be part of and a great way to sign off 2021.”
