ALTON police were called to the Manor estate after the sudden death of a man in his 30s.

The call out came at around 10.30am on April 29 to attend what eye witnesses have described as “a man on the pavement” on Hall Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the man has not yet been officially released but his death is not being treated as suspicious.
