A man from Headley Down has presented a cheque for £606 to the hospital which treated him for prostate cancer.
Alan Parks, 79, did a 5.5-mile circular sponsored walk with family and friends, taking in Odiham, Greywell Moors and the Basingstoke Canal, on May 22.
It was in aid of the Royal Surrey Charity after Alan received radiotherapy in St Luke’s Cancer Centre at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford.
He raised the money on his JustGiving page, and generated a further £51 for the hospital through his Royal Surrey Charity page.
