FREEMASONS stepped in to help Bordon air cadets whose minibus was stolen and set on fire.
Having read the bad news in the Herald, the Samuel Cody Aviation Lodge donated £500 to the Bordon Air Training Corps.
Its charity steward Nigel Wilson – a former Royal Air Force pilot who saw service in the Falklands and was then a British Airways captain – visited the corps headquarters recently to present the cheque to Flight Sergeant Dan Allsebrook, RAFAC, OC2412 Sqn.
The Samuel Cody Aviation Lodge meets at the Bordon Masonic Centre.
