THIS?year’s BBC?Masterchef champion cooked up a real treat for pupils at Four Marks Primary School when she officially unveiled their new ‘Wishing Garden’.

Villager Jane Devonshire was guest of honour at the opening of the school’s newly-landscaped top playground.

Costing around £6,000, and with support from Friends of Four Marks School, the area, the Wishing Garden is designed as an amphitheatre with brick seating, a timber bench and canopy that can double up as an outdoor teaching area for the children.

As Mrs Devonshire cut the red ribbon to officially open the garden, headteacher Veronica Stoodley said that is was hard to imagine how there could be anyone to “better demonstrate the importance of holding onto your dream”.
