ALTON mayor Dean Phillips has paid an official visit to Vokes Lunch Club in Alton.

He was warmly welcomed by the trustees before chatting to members, taking morning tea, and then sampling the lunch provided by the centre.

Vokes Lunch Club operates from Monday to Friday from its premises on Normandy Street and organises transport to and from the centre for members.
