A BRAND new Christmas show, A Festive Flurry, is coming to Haslemere Hall, this December, directed by international tenor and vocal expert, Philip O’Brien.
Continuing the pre-Christmas show tradition at Haslemere Hall, A Festive Flurry promises a fast-moving musical celebration of Christmas, featuring an eclectic mix of songs sung by the energetic, all-ages cast of Imagine That Productions (ITP).
This exciting new show is a nod to the previous annual Christmas show, traditionally held at Haslemere Hall.
ITP is honoured to be taking the reins this year to share its joy of Christmas song celebrations, following the success of its previously staged Christmas concerts at St Paul’s Church, Camelsdale.
In addition, ITP is delighted to present the Imagination Chamber Choir, consisting of members from the ITP cast.
It’s a show designed for everyone – the perfect way for us all to come together and sing in the Christmas spirit!
There are two performances, starting with a matinée performance at 5pm, suitable for all ages, with traditional carols sung and accompanied by violin, harp and at times a rousing trumpet.
There will be a sing-along for the audience and music for the little ones too. A joyful hour-long, festive songfest, perfect for everyone – mums, dads, children, grandparents, grandchildren. Invite your neighbours too. Just don’t forget your singing voices!
An evening performance starting at 7.30pm will introduce a repertoire of uplifting choral favourites (accompanied by violin, harp and at times a rousing trumpet) and sing-along carols for all the family.
After the interval, the ITP band will be welcomed on stage for a contemporary take on Christmas, with a repertoire ranging from Michael Bublé to Wizzard and everything in between! With something for everyone, it’ll certainly get you in the mood for Christmas.
It takes place on Thursday, December 16. To book your tickets, visit the Haslemere Hall website http://www.haslemerehall.co.uk/theatre/a-festive-flurry-new-for-2021/ or contact the box office on 01428 642161 (Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm, Saturday 10am to midday).
