A charity which provides treatment and care to injured animals has opened a pop-up shop in Petersfield town centre.

The Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital shop in Chapel Street was opened last Monday by mayor Cllr Peter Clist and is situated opposite Jake’s Toys.

Bosses are not sure how long the store will remain open because of its temporary nature, but hope it will be "several months".

Shoppers will find bargains aplenty with lots of clothing up for sale Monday to Saturday.

A spokesman for Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital said: "We will need lots of lovely items to keep our shelves full, so please bear us in mind if you have any items.

"All funds raised will help wildlife in our care."
