MACHINERY experts Engelmann and Buckham is launching a new website and fresh brand identity in the new year.
The updated branding is designed to reflect the company’s traditional values, professionalism and excellent service following a recent merger with Integrapak and Integra.
Following extensive changes to the business, the senior management team decided to align the company’s image with its future ambitions. Engelmann and Buckham is a long-established, family business and has been selling machinery since 1950. This is the first time that the brand has been changed in nearly 20 years.
The new brand identity has been created to represent the high level of service and superior quality of the machinery supplied. It also reflects the company’s approach to delivering a value-added, consultative service gained from being an established busines, said a company spokesman.
Iain Buckham, chairman of Engelmann and Buckham, said: “I am delighted with the new logo and believe it presents us as an innovative company with strong traditions. It will represent us as a quality company, delivering the best machines to a wide range of customers.”
He went on to say: “We work hard to create a high level of trust with our customers, which is based on our excellent track record for delivering the best quality machinery designed to meet our customers’ needs. I believe that our new brand identity is a strong visual representation of our core values and future ambitions.”
From their base in Lenten Street, Alton, Engelmann and Buckham have been supplying major manufacturers with machines for more than 65 years and they continue to develop, using local people as employees.
Mr Buckham is certain that the company’s future remains in Alton. He said: “When my father started the business in 1950 he believed Alton was the perfect place to establish a national company. We continue to be based here because of its excellent links around the country and proximity to Heathrow for our overseas business.”
He went on to illustrate how the merger will help consolidate the company’s service delivery, adding: “A key benefit for our customers will be the increased strength of our service and support. We have five full-time engineers, with wide ranging machinery expertise, who work tirelessly to ensure that our customers’ machinery is operating efficiently. This, combined with our strengthened, Alton-based team and a number of training initiatives that are also under way, will enable the business to grow from strength to strength.”
