Youngsters aged ten to 18 have just one week left to submit entries for Farnham Rotary’s Young Photographer Competition.

There are two age groups, each with a different theme: Animal Antics for ten to 13 year olds (Group 1), and People in Places for 14 to 18 year olds (Group 2).

Animal Antics could be a photo of your family pet, a wild animal you might see (rabbit, fox, mouse, squirrel, etc) or one in a wildlife park you may visit.

People in Places leaves lots of scope to be creative, potentially covering everything from sports to theatre, summer fairs, street photography and more.

Entrants can use a camera or mobile phone, but all work must be their own. Two entries per person are allowed, in colour, black and white, or both.

To enter, print your photo (7x5 inches) and put on the back the title of the photograph, your name, age and contact number. Post them, to arrive by August 10, to: Rotary Photos, 1 Inwood Kilns, The Street, Binsted, GU34 4PB.

All entrants and parent(s) will be invited to an exhibition and prize-giving event and the date and venue will be announced when all entries have been received.

Prizes will be awarded to the best three winners in each group.
