AN inquest into the death of a Lithuanian woman who was discovered beneath a railway bridge at Four Marks on April 6 has recorded an open verdict.

The inquest, held last Wednesday at Alton Magistrates' Court, heard how 21-year-old Rasa Naujokiene, recently of Medstead, had been suffering from mental health problems and was missing her daughter.

From her final resting place beside the railway track at Boyneswood Road, the lack of evidence to support substance abuse or attack, and her multiple injuries, Home Office pathologist, Dr Basil Purdue, concluded Ms Naujokiene had fallen from the bridge.
