Alton artist Toni Goffe is exhibiting at the town’s Freedom Through Expression gallery until December 20.
The exhibition mostly consists of 89-year-old Toni’s daily paintings he did for an auction site in the USA.
They are six-inch square, eight-inch square and six inches by eight inches framed works. He has been painting like this for the last three and a half years.
Toni said: “You learn so much in such a short time working as small as this. You can change a sky in 15 minutes, where on a larger painting this might take two to three days. It’s a really excellent way to work, I recommend it - give it a try!”
The gallery is open from 10am to 4pm and admission is free.
