AS part of the Great Get Together initiative which was launched by The Duchess of Cornwall and Brendan Cox, widower of murdered MP Jo Cox, the village of Ropley will hold a ‘Fabulous Tea Party’ on Wednesday.

Taking place from 2.30pm-4.30pm in the parish hall, there will be no charge for the tea and no donations expected.

Organiser Norma Day said: “The idea is just to bring people of all ages together within their communities to enjoy a delicious tea.”
