ALTON'S Neighbourhood Plan development is on course for a May 2015 referendum.

NP committee member Pam Jones said the public can vote for or against the Plan. An 'in favour' vote will enable it to become a legally enforceable planning

document.

The period covered by Alton's plan will span from

now until 2028, in line with East Hampshire District

Council's local plan – a joint core strategy drawn

up with the South Downs National Park.
