Changes could be on the way to Alton Maltings Centre.
An application has been lodged by the Grain House Trust to East Hampshire District Council to change the existing bookshop area into a vending machine area.
It is planned to block he opening between the bookshop and reception and creating a new opening from the bookshop area to the corridor adjacent to the top of the stairs.
A hardwood roller shutter would be fitted to the opening, laying new LVT flooring and redecorating.
The existing wooden and plastic car park entrance sign will be swapped for an aluminium sign and a new ‘Welcome’ message will be attached to the main entrance doors.
The café fire exit doors will also be replaced by powder coated aluminium/glazed doors.
