POLICE are appealing for information following an assault in the town on Saturday, October 24.

At 10pm, an 18 year old was walking back from the town and turned off Anstey Road into Anstey Lane. As he did so, he walked past three men who verbally abused him. He continued walking and then felt a blow to the back of the head. He believes it was a bottle.
