POLICE are appealing for information following four reports of purse theft in Alton.

These incidents all took place last Wednesday, April 6, in the town centre.

Police are advising people to ensure they keep purses and wallets close to them and don’t leave them unattended. Anyone with information on the thefts should call Alton police station on 101.
