A by-election will be held on March 12 to elect a new Alton town councillor for the Alton Eastbrooke ward.
The contest will be between Liberal Democrat Brian Bradley, Reform UK candidate Victor Burbidge and Lorna Woodcroft of the Green Party.
Polling will take place in St Mary’s RC Church Hall at 59 Normandy Street, Alton, between 7am and 10pm.
The by-election follows the resignation of Cllr Richard Moore, who was co-opted on to Alton Town Council in Eastbrooke ward at a full council meeting on July 9 last year.
At the time only ten of the 13 town council seats were filled. Also co-opted last July were Cllr John Quincey and Cllr Roger Lamb, in Ashdell and Whitedown wards respectively.
