A WORM-riddled pony is fighting for life after being left on a lane outside Preston Candover, near Alton.

Police believe the little black and white cob was pushed off of the back of a trailer and left on the Axford Road at Bradley Hill last Wednesday.

She was found by a passing motorist at around 2pm, grazing on the roadside. She had no head collar on and could barely stand.
