A VILLAGE crime prevention scheme has received more praise in the national press – but with it has come criticism about the way it has been run.
An article in a national newspaper on Saturday applauded the Four Marks Street Watch programme, which piloted in March 2008 but has also been described as offering a "sensationalised" view of the village.
