A TWO-day public inquiry into Tesco's plans for a new store with undercroft parking at its Mill Lane site will begin on Tuesday.

Tesco will be fighting a refusal by East Hampshire District Council planners to turn down its application due to concerns over the impact of a large out-of-town superstore on the "vitality and viability" of the town centre.
