HAMPSHIRE theatre company Pumpkin Pantos is busy rehearsing for its preview performance of its upcoming Edinburgh Fringe production Robin Hood: The Panto!

The preview will take place at The Phoenix Theatre, in Bordon, on Saturday, July 15, at 2pm, offering people the chance to see the production before the cast take to Edinburgh.

Robin Hood is Pumpkin Pantos’ debut Fringe production, and is written and directed by playwright Joshua Dixon, whose pantomime scripts have been performed worldwide. Having completed four seasons of Christmas pantomimes to sell-out audiences at The Phoenix Theatre, the cast are excited to reunite for their first summer pantomime.

People are invited to “come and join Robin Hood on his thrilling quest to outwit the evil Sheriff of Nottingham and win the hand of the beautiful Maid Marian - all with a bit of help from his trusty band of merry men”.

The pantomime is full of slapstick and adventure.
