RESURFACING work on the A31 at Froyle caused chaos for local businesses last week and left residents frustrated and angry.

Hampshire Highways, which is carrying out the work along the stretch from the Veolia site past The Hen and Chicken Inn towards Bentley, blocked off access to the pub, the filling station next door and the Hen and Chicken hill, which leads into Upper Froyle.
