AN AWARD-WINNING homecare provider is making itself comfortable after moving in with the Rosemary Foundation.

Right at Home Petersfield opened a fortnight ago with The Rt Hon Damian Hinds MP and mayor Cllr JC Crissey cutting the ribbon.

The company specialises in providing care at home and has around 60 carers on its books. Their services range from personal care and companionship to 24-hour live-in care within people’s homes.

They also have a wealth of experience in looking after those living with dementia. Duncan Cameron, Right at Home owner and managing director, called the opening of the Petersfield office “a proud moment” for him and his team.

He said: “It’s fantastic that we now have an office in Petersfield which is local to its community and we are excited to be delivering homecare to its residents.

“We have always ventured into Petersfield but we don’t have many carers that live local to Petersfield, so that’s part of the rationale for wanting to open an office here.

“We’re hopeful that by doing this and by having a bigger presence here we’ll be able to build that care team and offer more care in the community.”

The move will bring job opportunities with positions in the care team and back office being created.

Deputy care manager Louise Reeve – who shares Duncan’s passion for providing high-quality care – will be in charge of operations at the top floor office. She is looking to build a team of like-minded, caring individuals to help realise her dream.

She said: “They don’t need to have previous experience in care, as all our staff complete fully paid, comprehensive induction training.

“It is a great opportunity to start a rewarding career with a new team in a new business.”
