Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A3, from 8pm October 21 to 6am October 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Milford, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

M27, from 8am September 18 to 8pm October 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): abnormal Load Movement, Tilbury Essex to Gosport.

A3, from 8pm September 12 to 6am November 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Horndean to Weston, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversions via National Highways network.

A3, from 8pm September 20 to 6am November 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Queen Elizabeth Park to Horndean, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversions via National Highways network.

And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:

A3, from 8pm November 1 to 6am November 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Longmoor to Hogsback, carriageway closures for Hindhead Tunnel works, diversions via National Highways and local authority network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
