A GROUP of young people had a lot of summer holiday fun at a series of adventure activities arranged by Alton Rotary Club, Alton Community Centre, and the Youth Club.
One of their outings was a visit to the Go Ape at Alice Holt, where a course has been arranged to allow young people to climb trees and cross from one to the next with the help of ropes and footbridges.
They all agreed “it was great fun for all – if a little scary”.
A second outing was to the Alpine Ski Centre at Aldershot where a steep course of doughnut riding was the challenge and proved both a challenge and great fun.
Rotary also provided much-needed equipment for the Community Club, plus a large cupboard in which the items could be stored.
Earlier in the year, the Community Club members had enjoyed a Christmas lunch and afternoon entertainment sponsored by Rotary.
